The History of Short's Marine...
Short’s Sales & Service opened four years after World War II in 1949. Located in a small one-car garage in Oak Orchard, Delaware it was the “go to shop” for everything marine related. As the years rolled on it earned a solid reputation for being one of the best. Today, four generations and over 60 years later, Short’s Marine, Inc. continues to operate under the mission of being the “go to shop” for everything marine related. Our reputation has been confirmed in recent years by Boating Industry Magazine who has named us as one of the Top 100 Boat Dealers in the United States. We have earned the recognition every year that the award has existed. It is an accomplishment that we are very proud of because it takes everybody in our company to make it happen each year.
