NEW! Wing-A-Thon 2010

Be here for the kick-off to the show's first-ever Wing-A-Thon wing-eating contest, hosted by 98 Rock & Bill Bateman's Bistro. The contestant with the biggest "appetite for success" will walk away with the Grand Prize—a 5th Annual Big Game in Barbados vacation, February 4–8, 2010, courtesy of Almond Resorts, where the "chow-down champ" will join ex-NFL players for a "Super" weekend of fun, sun and sand at an all-inclusive Almond Resort.

NEW! Antique Boats Debut at the 2010 Baltimore Boat Show

If you're a fan of classic boats, a history buff or simply appreciate fine craftsmanship, be sure to stop by this display of classic wooden boats owned by members of the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society (ACBS). Lovingly restored powerboats, ranging in size from a small outboard to a top-of-the-line, three-cockpit runabout, give you the chance to see a bit of history up close and offer insights into the long and storied tradition of boating on the Bay.

Meet Bikini Bottoms' favorite resident—SpongeBob Squarepants is making a special appearance at the show. He'll be on hand to greet his fans Saturday & Sunday from 11am–3pm.

 

 


Blackbear the Pirate

Don’t miss story time as author Steve Buckley reads his latest children’s book, Blackbear the Pirate. Hear about Blackbear’s adventures with Izzy Paws, Le-Kid, Bonnie, Calico and Barty.

Blackbear the Pirate story time will take place Saturday & Sunday from 10am–2pm.

Kids' Zone

Parents take a break! The Kids' Zone features fun acivities for kids of all ages including:

  • Paddleboats—Let the kids board a paddleboat and splash around on a mini-lake. Self steer paddleboats are a fun way for kids to "Discover Boating" on their own.
  • Boat School Seminars—Kid-friendly sessions on sailing and boating, produced by the Annapolis School of Seamanship
  • Story time with Blackbear the Pirate—Meet Steve Buckley, author of Blackbear the Pirate.
